Furnace Cleaning
A clean furnace will dramatically improve the workability and efficiency of your heating and cooling system. Air will flow more easily because the furnace won’t have to work as hard to pull it in or to move it out. A better functioning furnace not only declines the likelihood of something breaking or going wrong but it can also mean saving on bills. It is important to have your furnace cleaned at least every 2-4 years depending on pets, allergies, renovations, and other contributing factors. Remember a clean furnace means lower bills, fewer repairs, and a cleaner home.
Duct Cleaning
Here’s where we make a difference in your home! We use high-powered suction attached to either the Return or Register (Supply) side of the furnace. While we have full suction on that specific side we then access every individual register or return and use high pressured air to blow all the dust and debris to the main of the ducts and towards the suction. We again access the main duct and use the high air pressure and whips to rid any and all possible leftovers. Unlike some duct cleaners in Regina, M.R. Furnace & Duct Cleaning makes sure to access both sides of the furnace duct system. By doing so we are able to ensure our work is up to our standards as well as show our clients what we captured. It is important ducts are completely rid of all dust & debris as the homes air flow and quality of air completely depends on it. All airflow travels through the main ducts at one point or another, which is why we make the added effort to “whip” or “scrub” ducts that need added attention.
Air Exchanger (HRV)
An Air Exchanger or HRV unit can be largely beneficial in supplying a home with fresh air. A quick and simple explanation is that an Air Exchanger pulls fresh air from outside and exchanges it for some of the stale warm air inside, the HRV or Heat Recovery Ventilator does one step better and warms up the cold fresh air before dispersing it through the house. Thus saving your home heating system the work. Not all homes have it, as it is not as necessary however it can be beneficial, but only if they’re clean! We often find filters clogged with dust dirt debris and bugs since the air is being pulled for outside. Homeowners often are unaware of the filters they should be cleaning every 3-6 months; the unit itself should be cleaned at least every 2 years.
AC Coil
Your AC coil is found inside your homes furnace system, its job is to cool the inside air allowing the condenser coil (Outdoor Unit) to release it. It is imperative your AC coil remain cleared of any and all dust as dirty AC coils usually result in diminished performance, lower energy efficiency, and reduced cooling capacity which result in high cost in bills or repairs.
